The blood consists of red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, and plasma. If you cut yourself, the platelets in the blood are what begin the process of coagulation to stop the bleeding and start the healing. Now if you could increase the percentage of platelets where the cut is, it should increase the coagulation, and therefore hasten the healing process. So far, so good.
